Fine Thunder Valley reproduction Gatling gun with 31" ten barrel cluster, mounted in a brass housing with a steel frame. The top cover is for gravity donut shaped brass Accles drum magazine. Gun is mounted in a cast brass yoke on a matching serial number brass base which is attached to a brass bound oak wood carriage. The trail and most fittings are all brass. Gun has traversing mechanism with elevation screw with steel handle. Top rear of the gun’s brass housing has a fine reproduction 3-3/4" round brass plaque with the same markings as an original Colt gun. Right side of receiver rail is marked "Thunder Valley Machine Co. Palmyra, NE / CALIBER 45-70 GOVERNMENT / SERIAL 9102 1 “. This is a fine reproduction and includes the following additional accessories: four total Accles round feed drums, four sheet metal and brass straight gravity feed box magazines, two forged iron axle brackets with rings, one 44" diameter wheel carriage with furnishing to take this gun, and also a tubular steel stand with leg splay retention chain. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine to near excellent original deep lustrous blue finish with firing residue in evidence. Both carriages very strong and clean. Especially attractive with brass and wood finish. Consignor states this gun is great fun to shoot! This reproduction gun displays a high level of quality workmanship and finish and is sure to please its new owner.
