The barreled action on this rifle are matching and from September 1942 to December 1942. The stock is an un-marked replacement. The op-rod is cut and numbered "D35382 6 SA". The trigger group is marked "D28290-14-SA", bolt is marked "6528287-SA". Gas plug is later cross slot. Correct early lock bar rear sight. CONDITION: ME reading: 2+. TE reading: 3. With a little searching, all of the correct parts could be purchased and make this into a fine early war Garand.
