This rare example, with 6" long and 1-1/8" wide Bowie blade, is serial number 32 and conforms to Flayderman 7C-015, unmarked as most are. CONDITION: Barrel is varnished over aged brown. Bowie blade is varnished over aged brown and shows minor pitting. Frame varnished over aged brown, as is hammer. Walnut grip is varnished and has fairly large chip missing from left side behind action. Hammer nozzle with minor damage. Action is good. Rifled bore is fair. The leather sheath, which is almost never encountered with nickel silver locket and brass chape, leather is slightly alligatored but appears to have considerable original finish with very tight stitching and no significant damage. These rare little Bowie knife pistols are almost never encountered with sheathes and this adds to their already considerable desirability. MZ
