Tapered smoothbore steel barrel with indistinct proof on left side of breech, flat lockplate stamped "PHILA" vertically at tail and "J HENRY" in center. Standard Model 1807 style brass furniture with the addition of a brass oval wrist escutcheon. Full length plain walnut stock complete with associated ramrod. CONDITION: Barrel and lock retain a freckled grey patina with some light pitting and wear to markings. Lock is in its original flintlock configuration. Brass retains a mellow mustard patina with some scattered marks from use. Last 3" of forend have been replaced, as well as a small sliver above the lock tang. Otherwise good, showing edge wear and scattered marks. DMG
