This is one of the many copies made of the Deringer pistol in the 1850's. This particular gun was made A. Wurfflein in Philadelphia and so marked on the top of the barrel. Nice scroll engraving on the lock and hammer. German silver mounted. CONDITION: Very fine with 90% brown on barrel and some traces of case colors on lock. All markings are sharp and clear as is the engraving. Wood has minor handling marks with sharp checkering, slight crack by lock screw. Fine mechanical function. GR
