Heavy octagonal barrel stamped "J. HENRY/ & SON"on top flat, rifle sights mounted on top. Plain walnut halfstock with browned iron furniture. Borwn finished unmarked percussion lock with double set triggers. Wood has a "M" stamped behind trigger guard. CONDITION: Appears to have seen no use, retaining nearly all of it's original brown finish on all metal components. Edges are sharp and markings are crisp. Action crisp. Bore shows no use. Stock with original oil finish showing only a couple minor storage marks. This rifle is in remarkable condition and must have been stored away and not used. PROVENANCE: Robert Sadler Collection, ex.
