Lot contains: (A) Pressed black fur felt body with a polished black leather band around the lower edge of the helmet and leather chin strap. Brass eagle front plate with German silver quill and key quartermaster corps insignia, brass spike and quartermaster corps side buttons. Tan leather sweatband with W. H. Horstmann 1899 contract stamp. CONDITION: Very good condition with interior sweatband showing wear. (B) Pressed black fur felt body with black felt band around the lower edge of the helmet. Brass eagle with German silver hospital department Geneva cross, brass spike and hospital department side buttons. Tan leather sweatband with H.M Whitlock contract stamp. CONDITION: Excellent condition with minor staining to the leather sweatband. C) Pressed fur felt body with a polished black leather band around the lower edge of the helmet and black leather chin strap. Brass eagle / artillery front plate with German silver number 3, brass spike and artillery side buttons. Tan leather sweatband with Horstmann 1891 contract stamp. CONDITION: Excellent. D) Pressed black fur felt body with polished black leather band around the lower edge of the helmet and black leather chin strap. Brass eagle / infantry front plate with German silver 12, brass spike and infantry side buttons. Tan leather sweatband with W.H. Horstmann 1902 contract stamp. CONDITION: Excellent, showing minor wear.
