German WWII Heer reissued M35 double decal helmet marked "SE" for the maker of "Sachsische Emaillerwerk" and in a shell size of 68, with a lot number of "4482". The very large liner is in size 60. Shell retains 80-85% of its original smooth green paint. Interior retains approximately 95% of its smooth green finish, with the entire rim showing wear and the dark gray original finish visible. Heer decal is in 95+% condition with the required era coat of lacquer, which shows up nicely with a black light. Tri-color national decal on the right side has been removed, as per regulations in 1940. Original early aluminum liner band is present and is untouched. Liner is complete, untouched, in a darker red brown color, with a size stamp of "60", and some fraying to the leather around the edge. Original liner drawstring is present. Original early chinstrap with aluminum fittings is also present, with some light wear, and illegible markings. CONDITION: Overall excellent.
