Post-World War II manufactured Springfield made receiver. Springfield marked barrel dated 3-56. Left of barrel stamped with "NM" and star for National Match. Late stamped trigger group with "SA" markings, along with bolt and op-rod. Hooded rear sight stamped "NM/2A" and "NM". Front sight marked "NM .062". Wood stock with three stars above eagle in square Department of Defense stamp on left of stock and "P" in circle proof on tang. Comes with reproduction green woven sling, oiler and cleaning rod. CONDITION: Overall good with 80% original arsenal finish with sharp makings. Good mechanics and shootable bore. TE reading: 1. ME reading: 2.
