Lot consists of the classic Western attire for the well heeled cowboy or performer. This is a true American Iconic outfit instantly recognizable around the world as a truly unique item of the American Wild West. The jacket is pull-over style with side pockets and fringe. Trousers were made to be held up with suspenders and has the side buttons. Jacket measures 21" armpit to armpit so basically size 42. CONDITION: While both show some wear, light staining at bottoms of legs and a bit of bleeding on back of jacket, both remain soft and supple and could be worn today if one so chose for a show or SASS meet. These would also make a great back-drop for a Western firearms display. These early buckskins were usually worn for years at a time and were never washed and most ended up in less than desirable condition and this may be the finest set we have ever seen.
LOT OF 2: FRINGED LEATHER BUCKSKIN SHIRT AND PANTS CIRCA 1890.
