Barrel with two line New York address. Mechanically engraved throughout with scrolls in imitation of Gustave Young Studio. Cylinder with mechanical scroll engraving. Frame with mechanical scroll engraving. Backstrap and trigger guard with mechanical engraving. CONDITION: Barrel, frame, and cylinder have no original finish. Pitted nipples. Backstrap and trigger guard show no original finish. Frame has no finish. Walnut grips retain some original finish, chipped at right side of toe. Loading lever bears matching number. Bore is good. Clearly not period engraving, although numbers match. Gun is not sold as an original engraved gun. MZ
