A rare pair of 30" dovetail 12 Bore side by side shotguns. This pair of boxlock guns are nicely made with side clips, third fastener, crisp double triggers, auto safe and ejectors. Hardware is blackened with scrolls and a bit of artwork on their trigger guards. Barrels have fine filed game ribs with beaded front sight. Ribs read H. Faure Le Page A Paris. Being that these guns are from Paris we would presume that both guns have European walnut stocks and forends. CONDITION: Guns still show a fair amount of their case colors with scroll engraving and carved fences. Majority of grips have obtained smoothed finish. English straight grips and splinter forends. Gun A (483) appears to have benefited from a restock while gun B (484) appears to be the original stock as it shows a bit more wear. Gun number 483 has a slightly noticeable ring several inches from muzzle in left barrel. CP
