Lot consists of: (A) US Army wool tunic, wool breeches, cotton leggings and wool puttees. CONDITION: The uniform remains in excellent condition but shows signs of having had its cloth insignia removed. (B) US Model 1917 helmet, retaining its liner and chin strap but missing the wool crown pad. Exterior painted in a black / yellow geometric camouflage pattern. CONDITION: Very good with moderate scattered light rust and wear. (C) Imperial German Dove Head sword with brass guard, ray skin grip with triple wire wrap. Unmarked blade is grey with areas of dark staining and light pitting. Repainted steel scabbard with shallow dents at the drag. CONDITION: Very good. (D) World War I Photo Album with 116 professional quality photographs each measuring 3-3/4" X 5-1/2" or 3-1/4" X 4". Some highlights include two photographs with planes and pilots that are autographed, General Pershing, Kaiser Wilhelm II, many photos of death and battlefield carnage, a barrage balloon being shot down, along with many other photographs of airplanes, tanks, trench warfare and artillery. CONDITION: Most of the photographs are in excellent condition, the album is unbound and the pages are fragile. Included in the lot is a World War I US Campaign Hat in poor condition. DG
