A very rare and unique 12 bore side lever double trigger hammer gun by Holland & Holland. This gun was commissioned and built for a Major Bond on 23rd August of 1876. Peninsula back action breech loader on T. Perkes Patent. Shiny blacked extractor sleeved barrels with a game concave rib. Fine scroll engraving with "Holland & Holland" in ribbon on a vintage coin finish. Refinished English walnut stock with a straight hand grip with long tang and newer black leather covered pad. Cast off with a long length of pull. Splinter forend with a unique push button center release. Canvas take down case with cleaning tools. CONDITION: Good. Barrels have been sleeved. Wood on stock and forend with good re-cut checkering. Some handling marks and chips. Slightly proud metal over wood in some areas. Older case in good condition. CP
