A very nice Webley & Scott Model 701 side by side 28 bore boxlock ejector shotgun. Built in 1971. Action, action bottom, trigger guard nicely scroll engraved. Stock and splinter forend grips are crisp as well as its case colored double triggers. Buttstock measures 14 - 3/4" with serial number on bottom tang. Dovetailed barrels, 2 - 3/4" chambers with Birmingham proofs and have a game rib which are tight on face, sound and ring like a bell. Barrels read "Webley & Scott Ltd. Birmingham. England.". CONDITION: Remains in excellent condition with some light handling marks. Gun retains 90%+ of its case colors and finish. CP
