Manufactured by Manhurin in .222 Remington for the European market to avoid laws banning possession of military calibers. As they were produced for the European market, they are exceptionally rare in the United States and less than ten are speculated to be here. Black Swiss style polymer forearm, green plastic pistol grip and buttstock. Paddle release. Distinct selector with a viewport that displays "S" for safe and "1" for semi-automatic fire. Diopter drum rear sight, protected post front sight. Left side of the upper marked "(SIG Logo) (Manurhin Logo) F.S.A. - MR. 222 REM. (Serial number) (Crown / AR proof) St. Etienne". Lower marked with "(Crown / AR Proof) St. Etienne". Rear of carrier marked with same Crown St. Etienne proof. Adjustable gas. Matching serial numbers observed on carrier, upper, and lower. CONDITION: Fine, with some markings from handling and operation. Barrel retains vast majority of attractive high polish finish with distinctive and one small silver area that appears to have been for a pinned on flash suppressor. Bore is excellent, bright and shiny with sharp rifling. Bolt face is excellent with some light traces of firing. Mechanics are crisp. Accompanying is four proper magazines, two 20 rounders and two 30 rounders in fine condition with some handling marks. EW
