1953 production with 2-54 Springfield barrel date. Three piece walnut stocks with Korean war period inspection on left side. All correct period Springfield parts. CONDITION: Very fine and original. Excellent with most all arsenal finish remaining. Bore is excellent with TE of 2.5 and ME of 2. Stocks have period handling marks and very minor period storage dings and bruises. A fine original late production M1 Rifle.
