Lot consists of (A) IBM manufactured M1 carbine with Underwood manufactured barrel dated 3-44. All parts are consistent with date of manufacture except for sling band and rear sight which are later replacements. Stock has original marks and is not cut for M2. Comes with period reproduction sling and oiler and late style 15 round magazine. Possible replaced buttplate. B) Standard Products manufactured M1 carbine with barrel marked "SA" for Springfield arsenal and dated 43. All correct parts except for rear sight and front sling band and top wood which are later replacements. Comes with period British made ammo pouch, three 15 round late style clips and reproduction green woven sling and oiler. CONDITION: (A) Overall good with cleaned finish. Shootable bore with ME of 2 and mechanically sound. (B) Overall good with shootable bore (ME of 2). Mechanically sound. Added arsenal style finish with wood being cleaned.
