These pistols are of fine quality with beautiful, finely executed octagonal Damascus barrels featuring eight flutes. The actions are engraved with foliage, center hung percussion hammers with finely checkered thumb pieces, engraved pop-out triggers. Serial numbers 408 and 409. Ivory butts with finely executed scrimshaw initials. Accessories include polished bullet mold with nipple wrench and barrel key, barrel shaped ivory percussion cap box, ivory powder flask with screw-on top. Rosewood veneered case with beautiful mustard colored original lining. CONDITION: Virtually as new. Pristine Damascus barrels, hammers, and frames retaining nearly all their original bright polish. Ivory butts with some age cracking but no significant damage. Nipples retain some original finish. The Liege proofs on left flat on breech. Actions appear to be excellent. Bores appear to be unfired.
