Early wood vending machine with beautiful blue porcelain panels, front and sides. Made by the Champion Vending Machine Co. in Boston, Massachusetts, this machine dates to the late 19th century. Marked with serial number 8830D and with an embossed coin entry for Champion Vending Machine Co. Boston Mass, with patent date of 1899. Condition is very good with some wear and paint loss to the wood case, and minor chipping to the edges of the porcelain panels and rivet holes. Reference: "Silent Salesman Too" by Bill and Peggy Enes, page 155. Has key.
