This is one of the best condition M&H closed top revolvers extant. The cylinder shows no signs of having ever been fired. This spectacular gun has all of the Third Model features to include black gutta percha square butt grips, full flutes, solid hammer, lanyard loop. Caliber marked for the .44 M&H cartridge. Six shot double action. Matching numbers 9830 on frame, cylinder, grips and barrel. CONDITION: Near new grips. Hammer and trigger guard with bright colors intact. There is a light cylinder drag line. There are also a couple of minor handling marks. Other than that, this gun retains at least 99% of its original high polish factory nickel finish. The rifling is sharp as new as is the action and suction. One of the finest Merwin and Hulbert Third Model .44's in the hobby and extremely rare as stamped with .44 M&H on frame as most of these guns from that time frame were chambered in the .44-40 Winchester round. Simply the best. DB
