This Colt was originally built in 1929. Standard features include a 7 - 1/2 barrel, .44 caliber with two cylinders, blue and case color with carved steer head gold medallion ivory grips. Barrel is stamped Colt Single Action Army .44 Special and extra cylinder for the .44-40. Gun exhibits Class C scroll engraving with gold bands on barrel end and double bands on both cylinders. The engraver does not appear to have signed his work but definitely Master Class workmanship. CONDITION: The bright case colors still have their lacquer and the finish remains at nearly 100% since finished in high polish blue. The ivory carved grips are incredible. Gun is like new and comes in A&F ribbon case with blue lining. Set includes a box of Winchester 44-40 ammunition. An incredible piece. DB
