Blue finish, Mother of Pearl grips. Produced in 1909, this magnificent revolver is engraved in scroll and fine dot pattern on the barrel, frame, cylinder, trigger, hammer and butt, with special engraving of an American shield on top strap and a "CHW" monogram on the trigger guard. Hammer and trigger are also engraved as a deluxe feature. Standard markings are present on the barrel, with adjustable blade-and-notch sights, checkered nitre blue hammer and trigger, and finely checkered grip straps. Fitted with a pair of Mother of Pearl grips. Accompanied by a leather covered fitted case, with French cut purple velvet lining and a 50 round cartridge block. CONDITION: Excellent, with 99% of the bright original high polish blue finish, showing a small amount of wear on the sides of the barrel and scattered minor handling marks. Grips are excellent, with a tiny chip on the butt and beautiful color. Case is fair, with the handle absent. Tears and staining of the inner lining, and scuffs on the leather. Mechanically excellent. DB CORRECTION: Gun is believed to have been engraved outside of the factory. Includes factory letter.
