An exceptional 12 bore assisted opening boxlock ejector by Churchill built in 1962. 25" dovetail barrels with Churchill narrow matted rib, inlaid "XXV" in gold and 2 -3/4" nitro proof chambers. Chokes are quarter and quarter. Barrels are engraved with floral scroll at breech. Top of left barrel reads "Orange St. Gunworks. Leicester Square. London." Top of right barrel reads "E.J. Churchill (Gunmakers) Ltd." Scalloped back action frame with best scroll engraving. Action with third fastener and double triggers. Action retaining a good amount of original case colors, non-auto safety, Safe in gold. Bottom plate engraved "Hercules Finest Quality Model" Nicely figured stock, fine checkering and with a length of pull of 14 - 7/8" over a partially leather covered orange rubber pad and gold oval with the initials "WMA" engraved. Anson patent splinter forend, double rolled trigger guard. Inlayed gold 1A on rib, forend and top lever. CONDITION: Excellent. Some light handling marks. Barrels retain 95% of their original blue. Stock and forend with high gloss finish. CP
