Features include round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear link, thumb safety marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position, extractor marked "GELADEN", front toggle link marked "CROWN ERFURT". This is an all matching numbers gun except the magazine. The magazine with correct non-matching wood bottom and nickel body with fire blue retaining pin. CONDITION: Typical Erfurt machining. Gun retains 80% of the original factory applied blue finish with an even brown patina showing threw the blue. Original straw is about 5%. Good bore with sharp lands and groves. Crisp checkering on the numbered grips. Magazine is phenomenal. This is a very early gun. No stock lug and hold open has been added, which is correct. It is unit marked on the front grip strap "R.S.1.34." for Regiment Headquarters of a Infantry Regiment. A very desirable Luger for any collection. RW
