A nicely case colored DHE grade 28 gauge side by side shotgun. 26 inch barrel with ejectors, solid matted concave rib, dolls head extension and brass beaded foresight. Tiger striped walnut stock and matching splinter forend. The case hardened receiver has floral scroll designs with dogs on point on the sides, one pheasant standing and two taking flight on the bottom. The engraving extends over its dolls head third fastener to its top lever, trigger guard and forearm hardware. Single selective trigger and automatic safety on tang. A nicely figured walnut forearm with multi-point checkering and a straight grip stock with tear drop flats, blank initial oval, and a nice addition of an engraved skeleton buttplate. Makers leather takedown "VC" case with canvas and leather outer. CONDITION: Very good. 95% plus original blue finish remains on the barrels with some slight handling marks. The receiver has 90% plus original case colors with sharp engraving. The wood is excellent with sharp checkering and some very small dings. Mechanically excellent. Case is excellent with some small storage marks. CP
