Very desirable .410 gauge Ideal Grade with 28-inch barrels choked modified/full with 3-inch chambers. Barrel marked "London steel" and "L.C. Smith-.410 GA.-Ideal-Fulton.N.Y. U.S.A." Twin ivory bead sights. Standard Ideal Grade oak leaf style engraving on sideplates. Double triggers, extractors. beavertail forearm. Length of pull measures 14-1/4 from front trigger to original buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent overall, most original blue turning brown on barrel, fading soft case colors on frame. Bores are clean, bright and shiny. Wood is excellent with very minimal wear, checkering is sharp. Locks up tight and crisp. Lever release is to the right. Very nice and rare small-bore "Elsie".
