A 12 gauge, 30" side by side circa 1937. Barrels with ejectors, solid, checkered matted concave rib, blued finish and single steel front bead sight. Choked with Briley Multi Chokes. The left barrel is marked "Made in U.S.A. Winchester Repeating Arms Co. New Haven Conn. Patents Pending". "MODEL 21-WINCHESTER TRADEMARK 12 GAUGE 2 3/4 Cham." marked on the right barrel. "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL" barrels marked "FULL" and "FULL" (on left and right). The matching serial number is marked on the upper tang, barrel flat and on the hardware of the beavertail forearm. Single mechanical trigger with selector. Action bottom marked "SKEET". Tang mounted non-automatic safe with "SAFE" in gold. Water table is marked with U.S.A. patents, Winchester proof mark and makers name, model and address. The gun is nicely mounted with a checkered walnut full beavertail forearm and pistol grip (with cap) on a nicely figured walnut stock with checkered side panels and a brown rubber recoil pad. CONDITION: Very good as refinished. 90% plus blue finish remains with some very light handling marks, surface scratches. The stock is very good with the added brown recoil pad, slight handling marks on the checkering, and few scattered small dings and pressure indentations. Forearm very good with two small repaired marks at left rear. Mechanically excellent and gun comes with extra Briley chokes, wrench in container. CP
