Nice 12 gauge Model 21 Winchester built circa 1953, with blued barrels and semi concave, checkered wide rib and round steel front bead foresight. Left barrel is marked "Model 21 Winchester Trade Mark 12 GAUGE 2 3/4". Underside of left barrels is marked "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL MOD.". Underside of right barrel is marked "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL CYL". The gun is well equipped with a beavertail forend and with nice checkering. Stock has a pistol grip with fine checkering and a black Decelerator Butt pad. The actions water table reads "Made in U.S.A. Model 21 Winchester Repeating Arms Co. New Haven, Conn." and stamped with Winchester proof. A single selective mechanical trigger with nicely timed ejectors and automatic safety. CONDITION: Good. 80% plus. Barrels have some spotting towards breech, rub marks from forend and slight ware near and at muzzles. A bit of wear at top side of breech/fences. Left barrel has been opened to improved cylinder from its original specification of modified. Stock has some handling marks, pressure marks and dings. Forend in nice condition with some handling marks. Mechanically sound. CP
