Standard No.4 Mk.I (T) sniper rifle configuration. Cheek rest on top of stock comb. M47C marked on the left side of the butt socket for BSA manufacture. Dated 1944. S51 properly stamped into bottom of stock. All matching numbers including the scope mount. The scope number matches the number stamped just behind the receiver. 1944 dated leather lens cover. Magazine is unnumbered. No. 32 Mk. III scope is dated 1945, made by AK&S. Steel scope case is numbered and matching to the scope & gun. Brown leather sling. The No. 15 Mk. I transit chest does not have the gun number on it, but is properly partitioned with correct label inside lid. The gun is import marked on the top of the barrel. CONDITION: Very fine with 95% original finish overall and light handling marks. Wood is very fine with minor handling marks. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. Optics are clear with some crazing to the interior film coating on the ocular lens. Case is solid with most of the original paint. One of the leather carry straps is broken. GR
