(A) Measuring 12 - 1/4 inch by 20 inch early blue colored Colt advertisement for Colts firearms and is believed to be Civil War period and a similar example is identified as circa 1859 by the Connecticut Museum of History. This listing advertises the rifles, shotguns, revolvers and military arms with testimony from foreign purchasers and listing of US Military personnel whom have used the Colt products with good success. CONDITION: Very fine with fold lines but fully intact. (B) Colt January 1861 price listing. This is the only intact version we have ever seen or offered. Complete listing of arms and services from the onset of the Civil War with notice of the new .44 Holster pistol. (1860 Army). This unique price listing is true to Samuel Colts flamboyant persons with testimony about his superior steel and how his arms have been in great demand and are approved for US Military issue. CONDITION: Very fine. Slight edge issues and fold marks. (C) Personal correspondence from Hugh Harbison, Treasurer of Colt, to James C Savage, US Commissary Department, in regards to supplying Colt Revolving Rifles with either socket or sabre bayonets dated October 12, 1861 and requesting payment to Colt's New York offices.
