Original Martial First Model Dragoon spare or extra cylinder with Indian and Dragoons cylinder scene by W.L. Ormsby signature. Serial number 6689 with "T" sub inspectors mark on rear of cylinder. Accompanied by unique U.S. Marked leather carry case of russet leather with white cotton stitching and matching leather retention strap. US inspections on both top and bottom. No other example has ever been identified or offered and this unique case is more than likely an experimental/prototype. PROVENANCE: Richard Neff collection, Max Guenthert collection. CONDITION: Very fine as cylinder scene is very strong. Finish is overall grey, inspectors mark is legible and safety pin intact. Leather case is very good with strong stitching. Markings are strong. Strap is slightly crazed but solid. TDW CORRECTION: Photos updated.
