Fine, all brass flask, about 9 inches overall with a 1 - 5/8 inch spout. It is double sided with deep repoussed trophy of arms over crossed Patterson rifles and crossed Patterson revolvers. On the very bottom is a long ribbon embossed, “COLT’S PATENT”. Both sides are identical. The collar and spout are all brass with the collar secured with three small screws. The filler cap and the spout are spring-loaded. The ball magazine cover is marked "COLTS PATENT". Top is inspected W.A.J. next to spout and small letter "p". The lower edges of the flask have staples with triangular hanger rings. Provenance Max Guenthert collection CONDITION: Very fine. Retains a medium dark brass patina with scattered spots of red-brown patina. All of the Repousse detail is sharp and clear with some light wear at the top of the flags and spear points.
