This interesting group of ephemera consist of four "Cherries" used in the manufacture of bullet molds at the Colt Manufacturing facility in Hartford Connecticut. Three round ball and one conical pattern. (A) .540 diameter round ball with a tool number 31 on shank. (B) .470 diameter, round ball pattern with tool number 45 on shank (C) .380 diameter, round ball pattern tool number 90 on shank. The conical pattern Cherry is .412 diameter, and has no tool number on shank. PROVENANCE: From the Colt Collection of Max Guenthert. CONDITION: Very good with an pleasant patina overall. TDW
