Manufactured circa 1887-1910, with a total production of only 4,333 for all models. Cased is a period deluxe "dealer" case, fitted in the partition style housing the unique two-barrel/cylinder combination set. First barrel/cylinder measures 6 - 1/2 inches and is chambered in .32-44 Target, the second barrel/cylinder measures 6-inches and is chambered in .38-44 Target. Both barrel/cylinder combinations are numbered to the gun with matching serial numbers, 114. Both barrels have a two line Smith & Wesson Springfield Mass U.S.A. address with associated patent dates. .32 caliber barrel fitted with a partridge style front sight pinned in place and the .38 caliber barrel with a heavy blade front sight pinned in place. Two piece S&W monogram and checkered hard rubber grips, numbered to the gun. CONDITION: Excellent overall with most all original nickel plate remaining on frame and barrel/cylinder sets. The 6 - 1/2 inch .32 caliber barrel has a 3/4x4 inch area at the muzzle where the nickel has worn through due to case wear. Both cylinders and barrel bores are nearly new and appear unfired. The case interior is clean with the outside possibly refinished to a high gloss sheen. A very attractive and desirable two barrel set. -MKS-
