Standard mid-War Colt with Du-Lite finish. Left side of frame has the GHD Guy Drewey inspector stamp. Right side of frame has Ordnance Wheel stamp along with P on top of slide and left side of frame. All other features are standard World War II with checkered spur hammer, checkered slide stop and safety, checkered arched mainspring housing with loop, short checkered trigger, Keyes type brown plastic grips and type III rear sight with beveled edge and square notch.Retaining over 97% of the late war Colt finish with no frame temper line. Solid blue magazine stamped S for Scovill. CONDITION: Gun has light drag line and some minor high edge wear as arsenal finished. Barrel is blue. Fine bore and action. DB
