This is rarely offered Remington Demonstration pistol. The frame is simply stamped 83, no other stamps on frame of any kind. No inspector stamp, no US Property, no ordnance stamp, no proof P, nothing. The slide is stamped "Remington Rand Syracuse, NY USA". Magazine is stamped S for Scovill. Finish is light green parkerized. Grips are Keyes style brown plastic. The arched mainspring housing with loop is serrated. Short checkered trigger, type III rear sight with beveled edge and square notch and checkered hammer with no spur. There is no visible temper line on slide. CONDITION: Finish remains at nearly 100% with light handling mark. Fine bore and action. DB
