Although not as desirable as the dog head rifle canes, the plain curved handle is actually less frequently encountered. CONDITION: Exemplary throughout with no discernable damage to the fragile gutta percha and no sun discoloration. The metal tip is brown and with old minor pitting. Most importantly, the gutta percha is nearly perfect throughout. Bore is excellent, action works well. If you want a great example of the scarce Remington rifle cane, 1144 is for you!
