This most desirable of all the Remington rifle cane lines, is fully marked on the knurled metal tip "J F Thomas Patent, February 9th, 1858, Remington and Sons, Illion, New York, Serial Number 80". CONDITION: Gutta percha eagle claw and ball grip with only light wear and absolutely no damage. The shaft in excellent condition with uniform chocolate brown color and no discernable damage. The knurled tip, well marked, with brown patina. Bore is good. Action is excellent, nipple somewhat corroded. Probably one of the best examples of this extremely scarce cane to be offered in memory.
