Serial number 425212 manufactured in 1910. Full octagon barrel. Winchester proof marks on barrel breech and top of frame. Barrel stamped on 2nd flat with Winchester address, "MOD. 1890" and caliber designation "22 SHORT". Tang marked 3-lines "REG.IN U.S. PAT. OFF./WINCHESTER/-TRADE MARK-. Blue with plain walnut stock and ribbed forearm. Crescent style buttplate with blue finish. CONDITION: Excellent plus overall with 95-98% bright blue overall. Only noticeable wear on bottom of barrel and magazine tube from slide action. Couple of slight scuffs on the bolt. Bore is excellent plus with strong rifling. Nice grain in walnut stock showing most all of original finish with light wear. Overall a very attractive high condition slide action rifle. -MKS-
