This pair of Smiths is attributed to Prince Jeffery, having been sent to Asprey of London where they were profusely decorated in gold inlay with nearly full coverage and "Asprey-London" in gold on left side of frame. Additional decoration includes gold trigger and hammer along with custom buttcap with deeply carved floral motif with fire blue engraved screws and ivory grips. The guns are finished in blue and are standard Model 19-5 .357 Magnums with 4" barrels. Both guns are decorated in the exact same motif. CONDITION: Neither appear to have been fired and are near new with some minor handling marks, slight flecking of lacquer finish upon one revolver has become apparent. This lacquer imperfection is quite visible in pictures but has no effect on actual blue finish. They are London leather cased with two Asprey marked gold plated oil bottles and three ivory handled tools, lined in red felt. Arguably, one of the finest and most unique pair of highly decorated Smith & Wesson modern revolvers extant and truly a one of a kind set. TDW
