Both manufactured in 1863. Pair of Colt Model 1860 Army revolver with United States Martial inspections and cartouches. Cased in a English Colt pattern dual case with German marked KM flask and two blue steel dual cavity .44 molds with sprue cutter marked COLT'S PATENT and unmarked Colt nipple wrench/takedown tool. CONDITION: #88262 is good condition with traces of blue in protected ares of barrel gullet and shadows of case color at high points of frame. Five safety pins remain as well as all matching numbers including wedge. Grips are very good, full sized, with visible cartouches on both sides. Action operates properly. #104840 is very good overall with 15% blue finish on barrel and cylinder. Faded case colors exist on frame sides. full cylinder scene is visible and four safety pins remain. All serial numbers are matching including wedge. Grips are very good, full sized with strong cartouches on both sides. Action operates properly. Case is very fine with two shrinkage cracks in lid. Red interior lining is slightly faded but very good. All partitions are solid. Molds are good with numerous small dents from use. Flask is very good overall and functions properly. TDW
