This rare and unusual pistol is completely unmarked with the exception of "3A" stamped into the left side of the frame by the importer and Eagle/359 inspected on the locking block. Factory cuts made in the right side of the pistol through the frame, slide, barrel, grips, and magazine. The left side of the pistol appears standard. All parts have been made this way, unmarked, and are not recycled parts which have had their markings removed. Magazine is marked "P.38v" and is properly Eagle/359 inspected. PROVENANCE: Collection of Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess, Morphy/ Julia's Extraordinary Sale October 2013. CONDITION: Retains 95% finish overall. Grips are fine with light handling marks. Bore is fine with strong rifling. Fine mechanical function. GR
