This may be the only surviving Savage Model 1904 in its original cardboard box with correct end label and matching serial number on box as well. The box has the original metal cleaning rod included as well. This model was made from 1904-1931 and this high serial range puts it near end of production. It is simply a single shot safety .22 bolt action rifle with a walnut stock and Savage logo blue metal buttplate. CONDITION: The stock has a few rubs and there is some light age freckling on plate and guard. The barrel retains 99.9% original bright factory blue. Box is excellent. If you collect .22 rifles and like them in their boxes, you will probably never again get a chance like this. DB
