Produced to be sold commercially in Germany and abroad. Features include round barrel with integral ramp front sight and four position rear carbine sight. Long frame with stock lug and frame extension for the fore stock. Early features include dished toggles with toggle lock and flat main spring. Walnut forestock, butt stock and grips. Checkered panel on forestock with a sling loop. Sharp checkered grips showing just a bit of wear. Original rear stock has the last three numbers of the serial number. Checkered panel at the wrist and a sling loop. Horn butt plate. All matching numbered gun and numbered in the commercial style. Safety is in the white in the lower position. Good bore showing just a bit of wear on the lands and grooves. Correct eight round un-numbered wood bottom commercial magazine. Magazine bottom is cracked and has an extra pin in it. CONDITION: The gun has been professionally restored by Gail Morgan. Gun retains approximately 95% of the non-original rust blue finish. Straw small parts. Sharp checkering on both stocks and the grips. No cracks or chips. The 1902 carbine is an iconic gun and would be a great addition to any Luger collection. RW
