Made in 1971 and finished in the Colt Electroless nickel. This finish was highly susceptible to finish wear, toning and discoloration. CONDITION: This example has the original hue with the most minute of handling marks and minor take down line. The color remains true. This gun is also fairly scarce and highly desirable in .38 Super caliber. The grips are the textured smooth walnut with silver Colt medallions. Grips screws are slightly fouled. The two piece box matches the gun and comes with original instructions and numbered warranty card with green booklet. A near new condition original gun that is hard to find with this original finish intact without major blemishes. It would be nearly impossible to find a better Electroless nickel .38 Super than this example. DB
