A sweet little 28 bore with 26" chopper lump barrels circa 1975. Barrels have ejectors, concave game rib with front steel bead sight. Left barrel reads "Armi Famars". Rib has gold number "1" at breech. Bottom of barrels have Italian proof marks, weight and bore ID. Barrel flats indicate chamber size "CAM 76", Final Proof, Importers Stamp "BSA NY MILLBROOK", date code "AA", proof house marks, serial number. Lump reads builders names "PRIMO MARIO REMO TONY". Nitro proofed small sidelock framed action with disc set strikers, auto safe and articulated front trigger. Beautiful full coverage Purdey style rose and scroll engraving with "ARMI FAMARS" at bottom. Engraved by "PASOLINI - INC." Strong grained honey colored walnut stock with English straight hand grip with fine checkering, long engraved bottom strap with rolled engraved trigger guard and checkered butt. Top lever with number "1" in gold. Splinter forend is finely checkered, inlayed with gold crest and gold "1" on Anson style release escutcheon. Gun also comes with a green canvas case. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain 90 percent original blue with some wear at muzzle and light handling marks. Stock and forend both very good with some light handling marks. Nice little quail gun.
