A beautiful .270 Winchester magazine rifle with a 24 inch barrel. The barrel rifling is sharp and barrel is nicely fitted with an eye for sling and a Leuopold Vari-X III 3.5-10 rifle scope. Right side of barrel reads makers name "John Bolliger" in script. Left side of barrel reads "Two Seventy WINCHESTER" also in script. Mauser style square bridge with thumb cut out with serial number engraved on side of action. The rifle bears a Winchester Model 70 three position safe, jeweled bolt body, and is also well equipped with a five panel checkered bolt handle. The magazine, trigger and trigger guard are all nicely blacked. The fiery marbled walnut stock is elegantly executed with a Fleur de Lis checkering pattern, pistol grip with skeleton steel plate, shadow line cheekpiece, eye for sling and a thin black Pachmayer rubber pad. The forend also is adorned in the same style with the nice addition of an ebony tip. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrel blue is 98%+. Stock and forend show some small dings from storage. Great rifle for American & plains game. CP
