The barrel, of Spanish form, finely engraved at breech with Dutch foliage. The trigger guard of brass engraved en suite. The band securing the stock finely engraved. Three side nails holding the lock characteristic of Dutch pistols. The lock itself superbly engraved with Dutch flowers. Sliding pan. The delicate hammer engraved. The wheel itself with Dutch type stud and engraved. The trigger split in order to provide spring tension, characteristic of wheellock pistols. The ivory stock, finely carved, with false sideplate. The head itself well rendered throughout. CONDITION: Barrel is smooth with no pitting. Engraving is excellent. Lock is excellent. Bore is fine. Interior has all functioning parts.
