Fine smooth lustrous blue Harrington & Richardson Reising Model 50 machine gun with 13.75" barrel with compensator. Two lustrous finish 20 round magazines included. Reising machine guns were fielded in limited numbers to the Marine Corps during World War II, many police departments brought these into their inventories both during and after World War II. This fine specimen is serial number 2000, and is one of the attractive commercial finish guns. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent smooth lustrous blue refinish with some slight softness to the “arms” and a couple other letters in the manufacturer’s address on top of the receiver. Ejector has been replaced which is discernible on the left side of receiver. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face extremely fine. Wood is extremely fine and very attractive with numerous light handling marks. This is a select-fire machine gun. A very nice and attractive eye catching Reising. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS CURIO & RELIC ELIGIBLE. JWK 2020-05-024
